Unlike other games where having A-2-3-4-6-7-8 will have you banging your head, in Razz it is a dream hand. You require the lowest ranked hand to be a winner; otherwise the rest is the same as 7 stud. Only 5 cards play just like normal stud.
Triple Draw is one more poker game which is becoming popular. It is filled with action and amusement. If you play a disciplined game, you can earn money. People play this game at lower stakes for pure pleasure. This game is more or less a version of Razz that uses 5 card draw as its model. You receive 5 cards and a round of betting follows. You can get rid of the cards you do not need but the end result should be a worst possible hand. Getting 2-3-4-5-7 is like a dream come true in standard Triple Draw. When the first draw is over, one more betting and discard round takes place. After the third and final draw, there will be one more round of betting and then the showdown. Remember, no pairs, no flushes and no straights. You want pure garbage and you scoop the pot.
